  The A500 steel pipe can be used for most conventional manufacturing operations. The stretchiness is good. It bends, flattens, cuts, punches, opens and opens flanges well, and can be welded with common techniques and methods. Applications such as the ASTM A500 include structural support, building columns, highway signs, oilfield services and communication towers. All steel structures have their advantages and disadvantages, but the final ASTM A500 is a structural specification in which the circular HSS is suitable for structural and general construction applications. ASTM A53 is a pipe specification designed for use in mechanical and pressure applications. The ASTM A500 is a better choice when a circular outline is required. The A500 circular HSS has a greater strength/weight ratio than the A53 pipe. So with round high-speed steel, you need less steel by weight - less weight equals less cost.
